Edmonds Community College cordially invites you to
attend:

Edmonds Community College is hosting the fourth annual "Mathematics Across the Curriculum" Summer Institute for faculty from high schools, community colleges and four-year colleges and universities. Participants are encouraged to attend in interdisciplinary teams.
The MAC project assists non-math faculty across the disciplines in creating and implementing projects that make the mathematical dimensions of their discipline more explicit. Participants may also choose to create new courses that combine mathematics or quantitative reasoning and other disciplines.
The institute will feature workshops given by experienced MAC faculty from Edmonds Community College, Dartmouth College, and other colleges around the state. The institute also will provide the needed time and assistance for faculty to create projects and assessments for their classroom. The institute will be held at Sleeping Lady Retreat Center just outside of Leavenworth, WA on August 19-22, 2003. Registration is $100 which includes food and lodging.
Join us for a productive and
enjoyable conference.
